The SPC (Storm Prediction Center) has placed parts of the Central and Upper Plains under a Slight and Marginal risk for Severe Weather tomorrow.

A narrow area from the Texas to southern Nebraska will have the greatest risk for severe weather. A upper level trough will move east from California overnight tonight into tomorrow.  A low pressure will develop and move into Eastern Colorado.  The low pressure will trigger clusters of showers and thunderstorms across the High Plains.

Dew Points are forecast to be in the 50’s

The NAM has dew points forecast to be in the 50’s during the afternoon and evening.  The storms are forecast to develop across the area in the afternoon and evening hours.

Nam 3K Forecast

The NAM 3k has a few clusters of storms developing across the region. The main threat for storms that develop are large hail and damaging winds, with large hail being the greatest threat. The timeframe for the stronger storms will be late evening into the overnight hours tomorrow.
