A major temperature difference of 100 degrees or more from north to south across the country will be separated by a powerful jet stream. The winds aloft will help push several waves of energy across the country. This will yield severe weather, flooding rains, a few snow events and more.
Major cold air will dominate in parts of the Northwest and into the upper Midwest at times, but anything far East will probably be more short-lived. We’ll look at the upcoming snow pattern.
