Wednesday sees a snow system track from the Ohio Valley into the Northeast with marginal accumulations due to the March sun angle and temps above freezing. The bigger snow threat takes off in the Rockies and marches into the Northeast as we head into the weekend. If the dynamics come together a big snow is possible.
Much more cold versus warm seems likely into the middle of the month. Any warmup should bring great spring weather, but be fairly brief. We watch for severe storms in the Southeast with flooding rains possible.
